About Uganda

Early in the 20th century Winston Churchill was struck by the natural beauty of Uganda, the lush green paradise, surrounded by mountains, lakes and dark forest so enthralled was he that he extolled it using these now famous words  ‘’Uganda is from the end to the end one beautiful garden’’ the pearl of Africa. It is filled with friendly people, wildlife and over 1000 species of birds and home to the mountain gorillas. While mountain gorillas continue to remain the pinnacle of Uganda product range a rich bird diversity of over 1000 species is a first growing niche riding on the conventional savannah park tourism attractions of Queen Elizabeth national park, Murchison falls national park, Lake Mburo and the adjoining wildlife reserves. The tropical forest of Kibale has the highest concentration of primates in the world these have immerged into formidable tourist segment. These are supplemented by the Ruwenzori’s and Elgon that offer one stop combination of both volcanic and block mountain climbing experience.

Uganda is a country that is moving rapidly into the 21st century with utmost respect and concern for the safety and enjoyment of its visitors.
