Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative who will drive you to the hotel for refreshments, before transferring to Volcanoes national Park in Ruhengeri, home of the endangered mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Muhabura Hotel (Budget) / La Bamboo Gorilla Lodge (Midrange) / Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury).
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking adventure and cultural walk
This is the day for the memorable adventure of gorilla tracking. In the morning, equipped with your tracking gear, you will assemble at the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts while you are with the gorillas. Embark on the adventure of tracking the gorillas, which may take 2-7 hours depending on the movement of the amazing apes. Stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour, where you may take photography and ask questions. Descend to the park headquarters where you will be met by your guide, who will take you to your hotel for lunch. In the evening, you may go for cultural walk or nature walk. Dinner and overnight at Muhabura Hotel (Budget) / La Bamboo Gorilla Lodge (Midrange) / Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury).
Day 3: Transfer to Kigali and city tour
In the morning after breakfast, you will drive back to Kigali, where you will reach early enough to visit the genocide memorial museum, where over 25000 bodies of people who died as a result of the genocide that led to death of over 900000 people especially the Tutsis. After lunch, you will visit the national museum, later the first house and other areas. If your flight is on schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for departure.
